Back It or Bin It – FULL TERMS & CONDITIONS
- This promotion is open to individuals aged 18 or over who hold a registered Betfair account in the United Kingdom & Ireland, subject to these terms and conditions.
- One entry per customer per round. Betfair reserves the right to withdraw availability to any customer or group of customers at any time.
- The promotion will run during the FIFA World Cup (the “Promotional Period”) . Individual rounds will be available on selected matchdays within the Promotional Period, as communicated on the promotional page.
- Each round will:
a. Open at 08:00 on the day of the relevant round; and
b. Close at the scheduled kick-off time of the earliest included match within that round. Included matches will be shown on the entry page for each round. - Some rounds may contain questions relating to multiple matches taking place on the same day. Where a round includes multiple matches, entries will close at the kick-off time of the earliest scheduled match included in that round.
- Customers must have an active account and must not be self-excluded or otherwise restricted during the Promotional Period. There are no staking requirements to participate.
- Customers with restrictions on their account and/or who have been previously excluded from Betfair promotions will not be eligible to claim prizes from this game.
Game Availability & Mechanic
- Users can opt in to this game by clicking the “Play for Free” button signposted at the start of the game experience.
- Each Back It or Bin It round will contain a selected number of prediction questions relating to FIFA World Cup matches or related match events.
- Customers must answer all prediction questions in any given round.
- To qualify for a prize, customers must correctly predict the outcome of every question within that round.
- Customers can change their answers at anytime before the round is live (ie: before the official start time of the earliest match within that round). After this time the round will be locked and no further changes will be accepted.
- There will be one Daily Jackpot available per round.
- The Daily Jackpot value will be communicated at the point of entry.
- The player(s) who answer all questions correctly for each day will win a share of the Daily Jackpot for that day.
- If there are no players who answer all questions correctly the Daily Jackpot will remain unclaimed.
- The Daily Jackpot will be split equally between all players who answer every question in that round correctly.
- During the Promotional Period, all correct predictions contribute to a tournament-long leaderboard. Each correctly answered question is worth one point.
- Entry and participation in the Promotion constitutes permission for Betfair and/or its associated companies to use the usernames, predictions, full name and city/country of participants for publishing purposes, including but not limited to, leaderboards and other display within the Back It or Bin It promotion.
- There will be an overall tournament leaderboard and there will be cash prizes for the top three (3) places.
- First Place Prize £10,000
- Second Place Prize £1,000
- Third Place Prize £100
- If two players finish tied in first place, they will split £11,000 (i.e. the 1st & 2nd place amalgamated prizes) and win £5,500 each, with the next best placed player taking £100 for third place.
- If three players finish tied in first place, they will split £11,100 (i.e. the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place amalgamated prizes) and win £3,700 each.

- All outcomes will be determined by the official result of the relevant match(es) or event(s) as settled by Betfair. Betfair’s settlement is final.
- In the event that a relevant match or market is postponed, cancelled, abandoned, materially changed, or otherwise voided for betting purposes, Betfair reserves the right to void the affected question(s), amend the round scoring criteria and prize distribution, or cancel the relevant round entirely were reasonably necessary.
Prize Crediting & Verification
- Winners of a Leaderboard Prize or Daily Jackpot Prize will be notified by email or telephone number within 72 hours of the Promotional Period ending.
- It is each player’s sole responsibility to ensure that their contact details are up to date on their account.
- Winners of cash prizes will be required to verify (with evidence satisfactory to the Betfair) their:
- Age
- Identity
- Residence; and
- Any other verification information requested, to the satisfaction of the Betfair before they are eligible to receive their prize.
- If the winner is not able, for whatever reason:
- To accept a Prize
- Verify their registration information to the satisfaction of the promoter
- Has been found to have breached these Terms and Conditions; or
- Cannot be contacted within 28 days;
- Betfair reserves the right to disqualify that winner, and award the Prize to the next eligible participant on the leaderboard, if applicable
- Betfair’s decision is final and legally binding
- Once the winner has responded to Betfair and verified their details in accordance the Betfair’s satisfaction, they will receive the Leaderboard Prize within 28 days by bank transfer.
General Terms
- Betfair reserves the right to change the terms, competitions, markets, or the availability, of this offer at any time. Any such change won’t materially impact customers already taking part in the promotion.
- For customers using Euros, any prizes will be at an exchange rate of £1/€1.
- Betfair reserves the right, at its discretion, to exclude certain customers from this promotion. If you have been sent an email from Betfair excluding you from promotions, you will not qualify for this promotion.
- Betfair reserve the right to withhold, restrict, or cancel this promotion from individual account holders in accordance with its eligibility, promotion abuse, and internal trading risk policies at its reasonable discretion and with prior notice.
- Betfair reserves the right, acting reasonably to change, withdraw or increase the availability of and/or value of prizes throughout the Promotion Period at any time.
- We reserve the right to withdraw the availability of this offer to any player or group of players, or to modify the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time. This will not impact any players who have already started wagering under a promotion - such players will be given the opportunity to win a reasonable equivalent in the event the prize is withdrawn or changed
